Fall is usually for the time to start dying your hair darker, or starting to think about dying it darker. Around this time of year I have always died my hair a dark Auburn color, but this year I felt like I needed a CHANGE.

I don’t know about some brunettes, but I have ALWAYS wanted to have lighter hair. (Or lowkey blonde!!)  I was born with very dark brown hair and it has always been a struggle to go lighter because my hair grows so fast and my roots show immediately. (you know the struggle) BUT I found a solution!! Being BRONDE, it is being brunette and blonde at the same time! (Finally) a happy medium for the fall by keeping and embracing your dark roots, but contrasting with more than half your hair being blonde. I have been receiving so much love about my decision to dye it so blonde and I couldn’t be happier with my results of my hair!

Since I have such dark hair and I went so bleach blonde, it is hard to keep my color from going a caramel blonde. But I have recently (and a little late) found an awesome Purple Shampoo by Clairol Professional to help brighten the blonde and silver in my hair. Some tips when using the Clairol is to leave it in from 3 to 5 minutes to maximize the brightness. Also you only need to use it 2-3 times a week. My process when I wash my hair is to use my Pantene shampoo then the Clairol Professional Purple Shampoo and finish with my Pantene conditioner! This gives my hair the brightness and shine it needs to be at it’s best!

I have absolutely fallen in love with this new bronde hair color and I hope you embrace your blonde hair too! (shoutout to all my brunette girls)! Have a great rest of your week!!

XOXO Jordan Taylor
