Screen Shot 2016-07-11 at 12.23.19 PM  So weekend we are talking about breaking the color barrier. Many people think that in fashion we are not supposed to mix color palates. Well they are all WRONG. Fashion is about expressing yourself and times have CHANGED!!

It is perfectly acceptable to wear black and brown together, but there are many different ways you can do it! So, what you do is wear a prominent base color, such as a dress or a top that is either black or brown. Then you are able to accessorize your outfit with the opposite color. The key is to wear more of one color and use accents of the other color.

To show, I decided to wear this new H&M dress I just bought and it needed a little bit of accessories to dress it up! I love this dress because it has pockets! Pocket dresses are so convenient because you are able stick your phone, lipstick or anything else in the pockets without carrying a purse! I love buying clothes that are so simple because I have learned to love to accessorize everything with either jewelry or other items such as scarfs or hats. I have been obsessed with my gladiator shoes lately because they are SO comfy and stylish! They were the perfect match for the look I was going for! And of course, how could I forget about my Urban Outfitters hat!

For any of you shopaholics (like me), Forever21 and  J Crew are having a sale going on! Also to receive all the best deals download the app RetailMeNot!! It is sometimes my saving grace because I love to shop deals whenever I can! Most of the name brand places are on the app and it notifies you when there are online or in-store deals!

Hope you all had a good weekend!

XOXO Jordan Taylor
