We have officially hit over 1,000 views on the blog and over 2,000 followers on Instagram!!! WOOHOO! ☺️ I wanted to start this post with a HUGE thank you for all of the people who have supported me in the process of making this blog! AND on another note, it is officially a month since the first blog post has been made!
Anyways back to what this blog post is about!!
Welcome to LACMA! If you are not familiar with this museum, then I HIGHLY suggest that if you are ever in the heart of Los Angeles you go see this museum for yourself! LACMA stands for Los Angeles County Museum of Art! Now I know what you are probably thinking, some museums are really boring.
BUT, I have to say that this museum is so amazing! They have a few different exhibits that range in the art from Asian Art, contemporary art to modern art! I am not usually the type of person to stare at a painting and try to interpret what it means, but I actually enjoyed the exhibits that I saw! Some of my favorite pieces were a wall piece of palm trees, Agnes Martin piece which was a whole collection of grid marked pieces. I also really enjoyed the Miracle Mile, it was florescent tubes that varied in colors and it was so amazing to see! I would definitely go back to see more of this museum because I only spent an afternoon there! LACMA is most famous for the lampposts that are place right outside the museum so we just had to take pictures with them!
Madison, Casey, and Haleigh all wore stripes which was really funny because we all met up before going to LACMA and had a good laugh about them matching! But, the good thing about them matching is that you are able to see how many different looks you can create with stripes! I personally have been recently obsessed with this burnt orange color. And it has been so hot lately (up to 100 degrees) that a tank top was perfect for walking around the museum!
As always, I hope you all have a GREAT week!
